Director's Notes

Hello and welcome to a somewhat early spring. I just discovered the Directors notes I submitted have been erased by some technical reason. That is becoming an ongoing problem in America it seems. We have been given funds to create a new website, and it will have all the features needed for our donors and prayer warriors to keep up with the activities and needs of Ministry and More. This website has been useful in keeping you informed, and the new one will allow you to contribute via a blog, email responses, and actual giving online.

This past winter we have watched God do many great things through you and other local churches and several organizations. If I begin to name any, I will leave out one or two. There were some wonderful surprises for us. If you were one of God's miracles, large or small, Thank You! You were a blessing to so many. We have continued to see new clients come to us for help, and that is exciting because it gives God a chance to reveal Himself to them, and us. It also allows us to show God's love to some who might not have felt a reason to listen to the message of Christ, and His salvation.

Psalm 85:6 asks God "Will you revive us again so that we may rejoice in thee?". Notice it says "again". Obviously the writer is not speaking of getting saved again, because we are saved by an eternal God, for eternity. No, revive indicates to be rescued from a place that is not pleasant so that again, we, His people, can know His joy again. We here at Ministy and More, want to see that our clients hear the gospel of Christ, but also that those who come to us, saved, but in a bad place, can be rescued and can again experierence the joy such salvation gives. Please pray for our volunteers too. We share each morning needs that we have, and then gather to pray for the day, our clients needs, and those needs of us who meet with the clients.

God has supplied the funds to update our website, but He has also provided the funds to repair our parking lot and the driveway. This will allow our volunteers and clients a save place to park, and the driveway will be wider for food deliveries of goods for the pantry. Thank you for being so faithful to this ministry. I never take it for granted when God lays us on your heart. Please keep us in your prayers. We are seeing opportunites to expand without overextending ourselves, but want wisdom to do it in a timely manner. It must be done with God in control, and not in our own efforts.

Lastly, with the new website coming, we may be down for a few days, so please know we are not out of business, just regrouping to take advantage of a great opportunity to make our ministry more useful for you! God bless you in the new year. Our next newsletter will be out the end of February so be watching for it.
