Ministry & More, Inc.
Reaching Our Community
Mending Broken People

Director's Notes

On Saturday, October 25, 2008, Ministry & More, Inc. will be celebrating five years of operation with an Open House in our community. As we look back at God's hand on the ministry, we can only say that we stand amazed at all that has happened. Our heart's desire is to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to encourage them to faithfully attend church. Every day the pantry is open is a day of sharing Christ's love, praying with our clients, and attempting to encourage them in their daily walk.

As we look to the future and the new doors God has opened in other areas of the ministry, we are praying for wisdom to make the right decisions without running ahead of God. We are currently looking at property to start a Christ-centered home for troubled women. Our goal is to offer long-term housing that will allow the women to get back on their feet, secure a job, and/or begin college for a 2-year associate's degree. With God's help, we desire to change the direction of their lives in order that they may begin a new walk that is Christ-honoring, as well as go forth to share the transforming love of Christ with other hurting women. We are encouraging our donors to pray with us that God will bring this dream to a reality. The need is very great. Currently within McLean County, there are several short-term housing facilities available, but no long-term, faith-based housing.

Thank you to all of you who so sacrificially donate your time and resources to Ministry & More so that we can continue to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people who walk through the doors each week. God Bless You!
